You’re Holy…So Start Acting Like It

Do you not know that you are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwells in you? If anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy that person; for the temple of God, which you are, is holy.”
I’ve written about this before but it bears repeating. You and I are either:
Coincidental/accidental clumps of flesh spontaneously formed from the muck of the ocean and are no better/different/special than a fern or a minnow, or
We are wonderfully, specifically, uniquely made in the likeness and image of an all-knowing, all-seeing, all-powerful higher power/divine being/intelligent being/God.
If you believe we’re the former I hope you are either right or that the one who made you is compassionate, forgiving, merciful.
If you’re not so sure about #1 then err on the side of caution. Treat everyone with respect, including yourself and your own body since that’s the only way to…
Stay the course. Keep the faith. Endure.
