Encourage yourselves daily while it is still ‘today,’

When people told Zig Ziglar they didn’t believe in all of that positive thinking and motivation stuff he said
People often say that motivation doesn’t last. Well, neither does bathing – that’s why we recommend it daily.”
Now Zig was a big reader of the Bible so he surely knew The Lord’s Prayer, where the final sentence in Matthew begins with
Give us this day our daily bread,…”
When you’re taking part in something big, you need constant nourishment, constant encouragement, and a big vision.
Paul was blessed with insight into the big vision, what he called “the end.” He was encouraging the Hebrews today to “hold…firm until the end.”
They were shown how a new, glorious reality was to come. It had not fully arrived, which is why Paul calls it “the beginning of the reality.”
He was giving them instructions on how to reach the end of the new reality.
