Your Abominations Are Known

From today’s reading…

God does not walk around arbitrarily smacking us on the head for no good reason at all. Nor does He change the rules to trick us so He can smack us on the head.

Instead, He is constantly sending us reminders of how to live and when we are off track. But we are “so captivated by our own beauty” that we lose sight of the end goal.

But Ezekiel concludes today’s reading with a reminder that God “will remember the covenant I made with you…” and He will “pardon you for all you have done, says the Lord God,” for everyone who does all they can to listen to Him and…

Stay the course. Keep the faith. Endure.
