You Will Be Attacked

From today’s reading…

There was an attempt in Iconium

by both the Gentiles and the Jews,

together with their leaders,

to attack and stone Paul and Barnabas.” Acts 14:5

Since we are so much more advanced, civilized, privileged, and woke in these modern/post-modern/secularist/information/post-information age, today’s verse would be re-written as:

  • “They were successful in de-platforming the mean, insensitive speakers.”

  • “They were successful in their protests to block the pro-life speaker from delivering his talk at Berkeley.”

  • “They were successful in removing the 2nd Amendment supporter from delivering the commencement address.”

Those in the dark hate the light. Those in the light will always be attacked by those in the dark, but remember,

And even the faintest of lights during the darkest of nights is enough to help you…

Stay the course. Keep the faith. Endure.
