You Are Loved, Not Loathed

From today’s reading…

Before the LORD the whole universe is as a grain from a balance

or a drop of morning dew come down upon the earth.

But you have mercy on all, because you can do all things;

and you overlook people’s sins that they may repent.

For you love all things that are

and loathe nothing that you have made;”

Enough with the false humility, the humble brags, and the self-loathing.

Get over yourself.

Get out of your own way.

Understand you are no better or worse than anyone you know.

Accept that God does not “loathe” you, nor does He hate you, nor does He want to disown you.

All He wants you to do is confess, repent, and…

Stay the course. Keep the faith. Endure.
