Abraham had a senior servant.

Captains of ships have “XOs” (Executive Officers.)

CEOs have COOs.

Presidents have Chiefs of Staff.

Eliakim had the key of the House of David, which gave him ultimate power in David’s name such that

“…what he opens, no one will shut,

what he shuts, no one will open.”

Jesus had Peter, who, like Eliakim, was given great responsibility,…

I will give you the keys to the kingdom of heaven.

Whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven;

You and I have a loving Lord with the compassion and the wisdom to put servant shepherds in place to help us…
