Work for What Endures

From today’s reading…

Jesus answered: In all truth I tell you, you are looking for me not because you have seen the signs but because you had all the bread you wanted to eat. Do not work for food that goes bad, but work for food that endures for eternal life, which the Son of man will give you, for on him the Father, God himself, has set his seal.” John 6:26-27

In other words, do not work for Nikes that fade and rip. Do not work for hair extensions and fake eyelashes that break.

Do not work for fast cars and lifted trucks that require constant maintenance. Do not work for big houses and wine cellars that require regular cleaning and upkeep.

Focus on what matters. Work for the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, which is the only way to…

Stay the course.Keep the faith.Endure.
