Why You Need To Bring The Heat
Please excuse my delay in writing today. I was knee-deep (head-first) in making a not-too-minor redesign of the home page and sidebar of my website today.
I think it turned out pretty okay, even if I say so myself.
How often do you take a long hard look at what is working and not working in your marketing, including your website?
For anywhere from free to just $9/mo you can get accurate, insightful (and maybe hurtful) information about what visitors to your site like and don’t like like. (Don’t fall in love with anything on your site other than that which converts visitors to prospects and prospects to customers.)
I use Crazyegg’s Basic plan to see where people are clicking, heat maps, scroll maps, and confetti to tell me what to emphasize on my site, what to replace, what to remove, the number of clicks areas of my site get and more.
If you can’t afford Crazyegg or you want to start for free, check out Page Analytics by Google.
It is totally free and provides a live overlay of any page you load in your Chrome browser and it shows you a plethora of information that will remove any and all doubt about what is working and what is not on your site.
At the end of the day, numbers don’t lie.
And if you remember my post from a few days ago, we do lie to ourselves more than we should.
When I got serious about golf I hired a golf pro to keep my from lying to myself about my swing.
When I got serious about real estate investing I hired a mentor to show me the ropes on hard money lending, real estate notes, and flipping properties.
When I got serious about selling I hired a sales coach.
If you’re serious about growing your sales this may interest you. (It’s how Alycia grew her leads 383% in her first month of working with me.)
Market like you mean it. Now go sell something.
