From today’s reading…
“The LORD God then asked the woman,
‘Why did you do such a thing?’
The woman answered, ‘The serpent tricked me into it, so I ate it.’”
There is good and there is evil.
God does exist and so does the devil.
If you don’t think we’re in an eternal life-or-death battle with the devil who is actively seeking the ruin of souls…I hope you’re right for your own sake.
Just to be on the safe side, say this prayer daily:
Saint Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle.
Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil;
May God rebuke him, we humbly pray;
And do thou, O Prince of the Heavenly Host, by the power of God,
thrust into hell Satan and all evil spirits who wander through the world for the ruin of souls.”
