When Admin Does Not Equal Admin In Facebook Ads Manager

Facebook Ads Manager is a finicky beast.

Since you’re the owner and Admin and all-around guru of your own account you think you’d have full Admin privileges on everything you do inside the Facebook Ads Manager…but that is not the case.

I had created a new account and was trying to run an ad but when I submitted the ad for final approval things just sat and spun and spun for literally 30 minutes.

When I researched the issue I found that I was not an Admin in my own account so I couldn’t add a payment method…even though my Amex had been set and approved.

So I hovered over this little icon in the image and clicked the first person on the left, which makes me a full Admin.

Then I could add my payment method, create the ad, get it approved and immediately running.

I’ve been running ads under another account to build Facebook Likes for The Sales Whispere Fan Page to replicate the addition of 3,147 fans for just three cents each like you see below.

So now I got to do a little more digging and discovered a few new cool things I’ll be sharing about the Facebook Power Editor and Facebook Ads Manager in coming posts so stay tuned.

Persistence pays off.

Now go sell something!
