Welcome the Continuous Pain

From today’s reading…

Jeremiah chose to do the hard right thing instead of the easy, wrong thing, and it turned out to, ahhh…like…totally…like…really really hard, you know? I mean, he was like, totally NOT stoked to be having such a hard time following the word and the will of God.

But he did it, which is why we still study his writings 2,600 years later.

Sometimes it’s easy to do the right thing, but that’s usually the exception, not the rule. To do anything well you must be willing to look like a fool because we’re all amateurs when we start.

Stay the course. Keep the faith. Endure.
