Walk Your Non-Talk

From today’s reading…

…he shall bring forth justice to the nations,

not crying out, not shouting,

not making his voice heard in the street.”

Isaiah called it way back in chapter 42, way before Jesus led by example.

St Francis of Assisi gave his brothers similar advice:

Preach the Gospel at all times. When necessary, use words.”

In reality, this is probably a pithy summary of what Assisi actually said,

No brother should preach contrary to the form and regulations of the holy Church nor unless he has been permitted by his minister … All the Friars … should preach by their deeds.”

But hey, “You can’t save souls in an empty church.” ~David Ogilvy

To fill your church, your store, your website, or your events, walk your talk.

Flashy guys and gals are brought down daily when it’s discovered their life is not the same as they portray it to be online.

Today, tomorrow, and all of next week try this little experiment: Say less. Do more.

Then let me know how your week went.

Emulating Jesus by walking your…non-talk, is the only way to…

Stay the course. Keep the faith. Endure.
