Walk In His Ways For Joy and Prosperity

From today’s reading…

[Song of Ascents] How blessed are all who fear Yahweh, who walk in his ways! Your own labours will yield you a living, happy and prosperous will you be.” Psalm 128:1-2

Today we see that man and woman had it good in the second chapter of Genesis and so did the Gentile woman in Mark 7 whose faith in Jesus drove the devil out of her daughter.

How strong is your faith? How have you plotted your journey? How do you know you’re on track? What are your goals? Have you placed more trust in your own abilities than in God?

How’s that working out for you?

If things seem empty, if your work seems futile, if you are dead inside ask yourself who plotted your current journey. The Joneses? The boss you despise? The high school guidance counselor who said you’d never amount to anything?

If it’s not God, stop, take a breath, and listen.

You’ll know when you hear it, and following it is the only way to…

Stay the course. Keep the faith. Endure.

Now go sell something.
