Two by Two

From today’s reading…

Jesus summoned the Twelve and began to send them out two by two

Air Force fighter pilots have wingmen to “check their six,” i.e. guard their backs.

Navy SEALs have swim buddies.

When you get your SCUBA certification you have a dive buddy.

Adam had Eve and as we see in Gen 2:24. (And many times we see how it is good that husbands join their wives: Ephesians 5:31, Mark 10:7, 1 Corinthians 7:10, and even Noah in the ark brought the animals on in pairs in Genesis 7:9. )

Steve Jobs had Steve Wozniak.

John Elway had Terrell Davis.

As the saying goes,

If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together.”

You don’t need much if you have the right partner, because the right partner will help you…

Stay the course. Keep the faith. Endure.
