Trade the Truth For a Lie?

From today’s reading…

Instead, they became vain in their reasoning,

and their senseless minds were darkened.

While claiming to be wise, they became fools

and exchanged the glory of the immortal God

for the likeness of an image of mortal man

or of birds or of four-legged animals or of snakes.”

At one point mankind thought he could build a tower that reached to heaven, now we’re a bunch of babbling fools who continue to think we know “the secret” of life.

But we prove our continued vain, senseless “reasoning” with statements such as: 

  •  “Love is love,” which has led to women “marrying” chandeliers and roller coasters while three men in Colombia are a so-called legal union called a “throuple.”

  •  “Gender is a social construct.”

  • And 37 genders recognized by the state of New York, which are abbreviated as LGBTQQIP2SAAABGBS2Cis3CCOFFTM/MTFGEGIGH2IOTMTW+8th-Gender-Alien

And don’t even get me started on Common Core math or NBA players kneeling for the National Anthem but bowing to China.

Worshipping chandeliers or bodybuilders jacked up on steroids or bikini models with breast implants or athletes who sell their souls for an apparel contract or politicians who have already traded in their souls for their elections or corporate raiders who are only in it for the money is no way to live.

When you “exchange the truth of God for a lie” you have zero chance to…

Stay the course. Keep the faith. Endure.
