From today’s reading…

It does not concern me in the least

that I be judged by you or any human tribunal;

I do not even pass judgment on myself;

I am not conscious of anything against me,

but I do not thereby stand acquitted;

the one who judges me is the Lord.” 1 Corinthians 4:3-4

The world is full of holier-than-thou self-righteous know it alls—many of whom are paid by our tax dollars…and/or hang out on Facebook 24/7—who live to make you more miserable this hour than you were the last hour. (Misery really does love company.)

They’ll tell you in no certain terms how stupid, hate-filled, irrational, and illogical you are. They will call your Christian faith a “belief in an imaginary friend.” (They won’t say that to a Muslim, though. Hmmm. Wonder why that is. But I digress.)

They’ll lie.

They’ll conspire.

They’ll work day and night to bring you down.

Don’t sweat it.

It’s what those under the power of the evil one do.

All you have to do is…

Stay the course. Keep the faith. Endure.

Now go sell something.
