The Wisdom Before Time

From today’s reading…

All wisdom comes from the LORD

and with him it remains forever, and is before all time…

Before all things else wisdom was created;

and prudent understanding, from eternity.”

I love the saying “Intelligence is knowing that tomatoes are technically a fruit but wisdom is knowing to not put them into a fruit salad.”

Since at least the 12th century we’ve known of the concept of being able to see farther by standing on the shoulders of giants. (No, Isaac Newton wasn’t the first to utter that statement. He just made it famous.)

Each generation learns from the previous generation, but at some point our history books run out of documented generations.

Like astrophysicists who trace the Big Bang back to a fraction of a second before it happened, we can’t trace all the way back to the true origin of life nor how all that mass came into its compressed existence nor why it exploded…or can we?

Scientist Michio Kaku, known as one of the developers of the mind-boggling String Theory, says

I have concluded that we are in a world made by rules created by an intelligence.”

We’re either spontaneous accidental coincidences or we are formed in the image and likeness of God.

Living in and following His wisdom is not only prudent, it’s the only way to…

Stay the course. Keep the faith. Endure.
