The Way of the Wicked Vanishes

From today’s reading…

R. Those who follow you, Lord, will have the light of life.

Not so the wicked, not so;

they are like chaff which the wind drives away.

For the LORD watches over the way of the just,

but the way of the wicked vanishes.”

In Isaiah 48 today we are reminded of the prosperity that awaits all who follow the commandments of the Lord, while the opening of Psalms warns us what happens to those who do not.

Then Jesus tells “the crowds” in Matthew 11 that we’ll be judged for both our actions and our inactions,

But wisdom is vindicated by her works.”

You know what to do, so get to work and just…

Stay the course. Keep the faith. Endure.
