Just last week on the Book of Faces I had two friends debating the nuances of a government policy, which ended up with them belittling one another.

After a few rounds, I chimed in and told them they are 99% aligned politically and it’s a shame they were attacking each other over some esoteric feature that was guaranteed to NOT be solved because two otherwise allied individuals were now less-willing to work together because of their personal attacks over this one small difference.

That is why you must be slow to call someone an enemy. It’s impossible to be in 100% agreement with anyone 100% of the time.

JFK pushed for massive tax cuts. Reagan was a Democrat before he became a Republican. Even the evil Nick Sabin was an LSU Tiger before he went to the dark side.

We all have our moments of weakness and our flashes of brilliance. Use your brilliant moments to reach out to those suffering a weak moment, which is the only way to…

Stay the course. Keep the faith. Endure.
