The Sickle and The Harvest

From today’s reading…

…and the angel in charge of the fire left the altar and shouted at the top of his voice to the one with the sharp sickle, ‘Put your sickle in, and harvest the bunches from the vine of the earth; all its grapes are ripe.’” Revelation 14:18

Every month, every quarter, and every year every salesperson in the world is called on the carpet to justify how they spent their month, quarter, and year.

Every April 15th you and I must reconcile our taxes with the IRS. (Taxation is theft, but I digress.)

And at the end of time, you and I will be taken to task for how we spent yesterday, today, and tomorrow.

The only way to look forward to that day is to…

Stay the course. Keep the faith. Endure.
