The Lord Sent His Angel

From today’s reading…

Then Peter recovered his senses and said,

‘Now I know for certain

that the Lord sent his angel

and rescued me from the hand of Herod

and from all that the Jewish people had been expecting.’” Acts 12:11

Peter was in a bad spot but God got him out of it because “prayer by the Church was fervently being made to God on his behalf,” and because he placed his trust in God.

Peter was asleep between two guards and guarded by 16 guards in total when the angel of the Lord arrived to free him.

Anything and everything is possible with God. All you have to do is…

Stay the course. Keep the faith. Endure.

Now go sell something.

P.S. Obviously Peter wasn’t in a bad spot. He was right where he was supposed to be. So are you. Trust the process.
