Paul was not only abandoned by Demas, Crescens, and Titus, he endured “a great deal of harm” at the hands of the coppersmith, Alexander, and had to stand trial—his first of many—alone.

But he was not alone.

In fact, because of his persecution and the manner in which he was forced to defend his words and deeds in the public forum of their modern day justice system, he was able to reach all the Gentiles of the region!

How ’bout dem apples?

It would be kind of like Tim Tebow kneeling and praying after a touchdown, thereby showing millions of people how to be humble and give thanks.

The Lord will never abandon you. He will not give you more than you can handle. He will bring good out of what you think is bad in your life. All you must do is…
