The Evil Ones Will Stop At Nothing

From today’s reading…

The chief priests assembled with the elders and took counsel;

then they gave a large sum of money to the soldiers,

telling them, ‘You are to say,

“His disciples came by night and stole him while we were asleep.”‘

And if this gets to the ears of the governor,

we will satisfy him and keep you out of trouble.’” Matthew 28:12-14

Dishonest, vain, power-hungry officials of all offices will always be threatened by the Truth and will do whatever is in their power to squash it, including bribery, conspiracy, murder, and genocide.

This was true 4,000 years ago, 2,000 years ago, and today.

We have not become more civilized over the years. If anything, the evil of the world have become more capable and efficient at inflicting harm and death to millions faster and easier than ever.

With the resurrection of the Lord, He has given us a clear path to salvation.

All we have to do is…

Stay the course. Keep the faith. Endure.

Now go sell something.
