The Beatings Will Continue Until Morale Improves

From today’s reading…

…on the contrary, in everything we commend ourselves

as ministers of God, through much endurance,

in afflictions, hardships, constraints,

beatings, imprisonments, riots,

labors, vigils, fasts;

by purity, knowledge, patience, kindness,

in the Holy Spirit, in unfeigned love, in truthful speech,

in the power of God;…”

Paul describes himself as a “fellow worker” and reminds his readers in 2 Corinthians 6 that God knows what an “acceptable time” is for Him to hear and act.

We just need to conduct ourselves worthy of being heard.

Tough times don’t last, but our souls live forever.

Stay the course. Keep the faith. Endure.
