Paul felt the hand of God, rather firmly, and heard His voice, so Paul knew more clearly than most of us what God was and is capable of.

Yet knowing that, he did not pray that the Thessalonians should receive unlimited Netflix or free Starbucks or even cold well water pumped into their huts to make their lives just a little bit easier.

No.

He prayed that they would love.

And no, love is not love.
