Stop Stopping Your Ears With Your Hands

From today’s reading…

I’m fighting my HOA to open our pool.

At the last board meeting, the president said “I’m done with dialogue. You can read my decision in the meeting notes on the website.”

In other words, he stopped his ears with his hands.

It’s the universal sign of inept leadership.

Stop listening, then blame your actions on someone else, i.e. lay your clothes at the feet of a young, ambitious, boisterous government official like Saul.

Listen.

Pray.

Engage in dialogue.

Accept responsibility for your actions.

Stop looking to government bureaucrats to justify your sloth, avarice, greed, and rage. It’s the only way to…

Stay the course.Keep the faith.Endure.

Now go sell something.
