Stomp Underfoot

From today’s reading…

Who is there like you, the God who removes guilt

and pardons sin for the remnant of his inheritance;

Who does not persist in anger forever,

but delights rather in clemency,

And will again have compassion on us,

treading underfoot our guilt?”

God does not want to be angry with us, but He is just, which means we must make amends for our sins. We must admit when we have done wrong, seek forgiveness, and repent.

There is nothing we have done that God will not forgive, but we must turn from our sinful ways.

When that is done and you see your guilt trampled underfoot, it will be much easier to…

Stay the course. Keep the faith. Endure.
