Stay an Eager Beaver

It’s easy to be excited as you leave home for the airport to travel halfway around the world.

It’s another thing to be excited 28 hours later after two delayed flights, lost luggage, no shower, and maybe three hours of semi-decent sleep and zero decent food.

Rookies—and children—allow their emotions to create rose-colored glasses, then cloud their vision with tears.

Professionals—and adults—know that pain is part of the process and once they commit, they don’t quit.
