O stupid Galatians! Who has bewitched you,… did you receive the Spirit from works of the law, or from faith in what you heard? Are you so stupid? After beginning with the Spirit, are you now ending with the flesh?”
Did Paul issue a trigger warning before he lit into the recipients of this letter?
Did they have safe spaces, stress counseling, medication, and sick days to cope with his meanie-head words?
Did Paul have to go to anger management classes for speaking the truth?
Sometimes you need a verbal 2×4 to the forehead to get your act together.
If you’re wise you’ll use today’s reading to serve as that virtual 2×4 and learn from the mistakes of others.
