Seek Good Not Evil To Live

From today’s reading…

Seek good and not evil,

that you may live;

Then truly will the LORD, the God of hosts,

be with you as you claim!” Amos 5:14

It’s hard to seek good because evil can feel so good while good feels so hard. Evil actions can give instant gratification but eternal guilt while good actions may not produce visible fruit for years or even generations but they provide eternal salvation.
