At 6:35 PM Eastern on April 28, 2020, the mayor of New York City, Bill de Blasio Tweeted,

My message to the Jewish community, and all communities, is this simple: the time for warnings has passed. I have instructed the NYPD to proceed immediately to summons or even arrest those who gather in large groups. This is about stopping this disease and saving lives. Period.”

Also this week two police officers in Wisconsin visited a woman’s home because she “violated a state order” by allowing her daughter to play at a neighbor’s house and they asked for the woman’s name to “document” her actions and her “uncooperative” attitude.

On April 8th police in Mississippi issued $500 tickets to parishioners attending drive-in church services.
