Punished For Your Crimes

From today’s reading…

You alone have I favored,

more than all the families of the earth;

Therefore I will punish you

for all your crimes.” Amos 3:2

When much is given, much is expected. God has literally given us everything and He literally gave His all to save us and how do we repay Him? By selling baby parts and sex trafficking and drugs and violence and hate for our neighbor.

It’s not supposed to be this way. It doesn’t have to be this way. If we could have more than a “little faith” we could move mountains, calm the sea, and give sight to the blind.

We’re being punished for our crimes but it’s never too late to…

Stay the course. Keep the faith. Endure.

Now go sell something.
