Produce Every Kind of Goodness

From today’s reading…

Brothers and sisters:

You were once darkness,

but now you are light in the Lord.

Live as children of light,

for light produces every kind of goodness

and righteousness and truth.” Ephesians 5:8-9

To remain in the light and to bring it to others you must live, i.e., act appropriately.

When you say “I do” at the altar with your spouse you prove you are changed by changing how you live and conduct yourself. Yes, the engagement is over but the REAL relationship has only just begun.

Likewise, when you “accept Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior” your salvific journey is not over, it has only just begun. You prove you are changed by changing how you live and conduct yourself.

When you say “I do,” act like it.

When you say “Amen,” act like it.

Stay the course. Keep the faith. Endure.

Now go sell something.
