Ponder Them In Your Heart

From today’s reading…

The shepherds and wise men sought Jesus and found Him, along with Mary and Joseph, who protected Him and taught Him as all loving parents do. In verse 21 we see them following the prescripts of their Jewish faith, which they diligently taught to Jesus as they raised Him.

Paul emphasizes this today in his letter to the Galatians: “God sent his Son, born of a woman, born a subject of the Law”. (4:4)

Clearly, Mary remembered what the wise men told her as well as the Angel Gabriel.

Her entire life she searched for, studied, and followed the Word of God.

When she found Her Savior she loved Him, kept Him close to her heart, and pondered His teachings, His examples, and His way of life, which is the only way to…
