From today’s reading…

Greater will be the future glory of this house

than the former, says the LORD of hosts;

And in this place I will give you peace,

says the LORD of hosts!”

Haggai was instructed to pass along another message to the governor, the high priest, and the people today, and it’s an uplifting, hope-filled message.

God assures them that He remembers the promise He made when He led them out of Egypt.

He assures them that His spirit “continues in your midst.”

And He assured them that He will “fill this house with glory.” 

You and I are not to fear, we are only to…
