Participate In Your Healing

From today’s reading…

They scurried about the surrounding country

We value most that which we own and help create.

It’s why nobody washes a rental car before they return it.

It’s why socialist and communist countries collapse and will always collapse (usually after killing a million to 100 million people, but, hey, you’re smarter than all the others and you know how to really do socialism right. Right? But I digress.)

That’s why God, from the beginning, has us participate in our salvation. In Genesis 2:15 we see Adam placed in the Garden of Eden to “cultivate and care for it.”

In Matthew 7:7 Jesus instructs us, 

Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.”

Today, we see Jesus allowing Himself to be found in Gennesaret but He has the members of that community come to Him for healing. He has them participate in the healing of their loved ones.

As long as you come to Jesus for all that worries and ails you, you will be able to…

Stay the course. Keep the faith. Endure.

Now go sell something.
