From today’s reading…

What Moses is saying is “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.”

But we’re funny creatures.

We’ll avoid going to the doctor for weeks or even months because we think “it ain’t that bad.” Then, when we finally go see the doctor, we stop taking our 10-day prescription on day two because we start feeling better.

Then we wonder why our disease flares up again, worse than before.
