From today’s reading…

As many people were aghast at him — he was so inhumanly disfigured that he no longer looked like a man-….Hence I shall give him a portion with the many, and he will share the booty with the mighty, for having exposed himself to death and for being counted as one of the rebellious, whereas he was bearing the sin of many and interceding for the rebellious.” Isaiah 52:14, 53:12

Imagine the torture you’d have to endure to be so disfigured that you didn’t look like a human.

Imagine receiving that beating because a bureaucrat was threatened by you speaking the truth and beat you just to retain his comfy position.

That’s why Jesus shares in the eternal wealth.

But Jesus didn’t do it for Himself.

He didn’t need saving.

He did it so you and I could share in the eternal wealth with Him because He knew that only by leading by example would we be able to…

Stay the course. Keep the faith. Endure.
