Listen To Avoid The Threat

From today’s reading…

Now, therefore, reform your ways and your deeds;

listen to the voice of the LORD your God,

so that the LORD will repent of the evil with which he threatens you.” Jeremiah 26:13

God wants us all to live in eternity with Him so much so that He sent prophet after prophet to give us a heads up but we are selfish, lazy, and arrogant with short memories.

We’re like the donkey carrying Jesus into Jerusalem who thinks all the hoopla is for us!

We’re like the ancient people who thought dancing could bring rain (or driving a diesel truck can melt ice caps.)

Stop looking at and listening to yourself so you can see God in everything and hear His voice, which is the only way to…

Stay the course. Keep the faith. Endure.

Now go sell something.
