Life is Found in the Rooted Ground

From today’s reading…

You and I are either an accident, a coincidence, an anomaly, a lump of cells with opposable thumbs that haphazardly came together from the vacuum of space…or we were created on purpose by a divine, all-knowing, all-powerful “imaginary friend in the sky” who must be real to create you and me.

For the sake of today’s post, let’s go with the latter belief, and let’s call that imaginary friend in the sky, God.

Let’s say that God is, as we read in the Bible, a loving Father.

If your father on earth loves you “all the way to the moon and back,” how much taller and deeper and wider is the love of God? Maybe to galaxy MACS0647-JD* and back? 

Trees withstand great forces because of their extensive roots, which ground them and provide the source of their strength.

If you find that your vision board and manifestation statements and professionally-styled life coach’s advice are not giving you the strength you need to handle the stresses and struggles that come your way, consider the source of your strength.
