Let Not Your Courage Fail

From today’s reading…

Then the LORD said to Isaiah: Go out to meet Ahaz,

…and say to him:

Take care you remain tranquil and do not fear;

let not your courage fail…” Isaiah 7:3-4

It is not our job to worry or fear or to be filled with anxiety and angst. We are on the winning side, even if the victory happens after our time.

Today’s reading concludes with God reminding us that Ephraim would “be crushed, no longer a nation”…but it would take 65 years.

Heck, I haven’t even been alive 65 years, and you probably haven’t, either. Even if you have, don’t sweat it. God has a plan. He knows what’s what and who’s who. Everything will work out for the good when God is ready so all you and I have to do is…

Stay the course. Keep the faith. Endure.
