When the upright abandons uprightness and does wrong and dies,

he dies because of the wrong which he himself has done.

Similarly, when the wicked abandons wickedness

to become law-abiding and upright,

It’s all your fault. Stop blaming others. Actions have consequences. If you do the crime, you better be prepared to do the time. You’re not a victim, you’re just weak, so get strong.
