From today’s reading…

For God did not call us to impurity but to holiness.

Therefore, whoever disregards this,

disregards not a human being but God,

who also gives his Holy Spirit to you.”

In the first chapter of the first book of the Bible God said “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness.”

As the father of five daughters I can tell you that if I catch you disregarding them you’re going to wish you had stayed home that day because chances are good you won’t leave home under your own power for quite some time.

But if you think I’m a jealous, protective father, you ain’t seen nothing, yet.

Paul reminds us through his writings in 1 Thes 4 how we are to morally conduct ourselves as we treat our neighbors as brothers and sisters because they are made by God and God is in them.

As the deliverer of the Holy Spirit, you need to stay on His good side so you can…
