How To Not Store Up Wrath For Yourself
From today’s reading…
By your stubbornness and impenitent heart,
you are storing up wrath for yourself
for the day of wrath and revelation
of the just judgment of God,
who will repay everyone according to his works,…”
Talk is cheap and Paul doesn’t mince his words to the Romans and to you and me.
Accepting Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior is fine and dandy. But it’s not enough.
God “repays” with immortality those who “(persevere) in good works.”
Jesus doubles down on this message at the end of Luke 11 today when He chastises the Pharisees who “do not lift on finger” to help those under their care.
Talk is cheap. Do more than talk.
Stay the course. Keep the faith. Endure.
