How To Be Raised High

From today’s reading…

And for this God raised him high, and gave him the name which is above all other names;” Philippians 2:9

What is “this” that Jesus did that warranted such praise, glory, and honor from God?

He “emptied himself.”

He took “the form of a slave” and then took it a step further and humbled Himself to the point of death for a crime He did not commit in order to bring hope and salvation to you and me.

Since you can’t keep up with the Joneses or the hate or the anger or the jealousy or the trolls or the idealists or the radicals, why don’t you give it all up to God, and try humbling yourself for a minute, because being like Jesus is the only way to…

Stay the course. Keep the faith. Endure.
