His Word Is The Greatest Shield

Every word of God is tested;
he is a shield to those who take refuge in him.
Add nothing to his words,
lest he reprove you, and you will be exposed as a deceiver.”
How many times have you heard “Money is the root of all evil”?
I’ve always said that people who say that are either lying manipulators, ignorant Christians, or both because 1 Timothy 6:10 clearly states “For the love of money is the root of all evils, and some people in their desire for it have strayed from the faith and have pierced themselves with many pains.”
If you have to lie to get your point across or to win an argument or to have your way, you’re a deceiver who best prepare for a reprimand, maybe even the ultimate reprimand, which you will not like.
If you don’t like being corrected and shunned just…
Stay the course. Keep the faith. Endure.
Now go sell something.
