From today’s reading…
He is the reflection of God’s glory and bears the impress of God’s own being, sustaining all things by his powerful command; and now that he has purged sins away, he has taken his seat at the right hand of the divine Majesty on high.” Hebrews 1:3
Who else “purged sins away” in the Bible and “has taken his seat at the right hand of the divine Majesty on high?”
Not Noah.
Not Moses.
Not Abraham.
Not Solomon.
Not any of the prophets.
None of Apostles.
Not John the Baptist.
Not even Mary or Joseph.
Paul is writing this letter maybe 30 years after the death and resurrection of Jesus, so he knows what’s up and he gave his life telling, spreading, and re-telling this message just to help you…
Stay the course. Keep the faith. Endure.
Now go sell something.
