From today’s reading…

I shall not talk to you much longer, because the prince of this world is on his way. He has no power over me, but the world must recognise that I love the Father and that I act just as the Father commanded. Come now, let us go.” John 14:30-31

Several times John refers to Satan as “the prince of this world.”

That’s scary.

But John opens today with Jesus giving us His peace in verse 27.

So take comfort in knowing that the Father and the Son are one and that Satan has no power over them.
