From today’s reading…

Yahweh has leaned down from the heights of his sanctuary, has looked down from heaven to earth, to listen to the sighing of the captive, and set free those condemned to death, to proclaim the name of Yahweh in Zion, his praise in Jerusalem;” Psalm 102:19-21

We ignored the warnings, played with fire, got burned, and are now in pain.

There is a treatment that will make the pain go away, remove the scar, and protect us from ever getting burned again.

But it’s more akin to physical therapy after surgery than a magic pill, which requires us to work in conjunction with the Master Therapist, to follow His prescription to the letter, to observe the warnings, read the instructions, and…

Stay the course. Keep the faith. Endure.
