He Has Conquered The World

From today’s reading…

I have told you all this so that you may find peace in me. In the world you will have hardship, but be courageous: I have conquered the world.” John 16:33

There are certainly hardships in our world right now, many of them manmade.

Since “if it bleeds, it leads” is the motto of news outlets today, it’s easy to think the entire world is bleeding.

The Devil wants you to focus on the bleeding, the turmoil, and the chaos.

The Devil knows in the total lack of peace that you will lose hope, and when you lose hope, you’ll give up the fight, which is why Jesus gives you His peace.

He walked His talk.

He remained courageous in the face of the most egregious hardships, which He took on willingly for you and for me.

Internalizing that is the only way to…

Stay the course.Keep the faith.Endure.

Now go sell something.
